I’d challenge anyone who talks about the “concern with this generation” to attend the SkillsUSA national competition in person – the passion for the trades and young skill competing was astonishing. There were several participants that graduated high school a few days before the national competition and then start their career a few days later with commercial contractors/companies as apprentices.
